| This book grew out of Walker and Rubel's many fire play demos they have done; the tone of the writing is very much in this vein of speaking to an audience. The photographs also demonstrate things they discuss. However it is not a training manual so please do not confuse reading this book with learning how to do fire play -- it really is something you need to learn and practice over and over with someone skilled in this area (something that Walker and Rubel repeatedly state). Nor is this a book on all types of fire play, only on dry-body fire play. Read this book to learn a bit and help you decide if you should seek out an expert to learn from. |
